$176 million flowed back into US Bitcoin ETFs on Tuesday, and nearly all of it landed in a single fund. That second straight day of buying has almost wiped out October's losses, and it came right as Bitcoin pushed back toward $81,000.
Key points:
- Tuesday brought $176 million into US spot Bitcoin ETFs, the second green day in a row after Monday's $110 million.
- BlackRock's IBIT took $151 million of it, Fidelity's FBTC took about $25 million, and every other fund sat at zero.
- Ether funds went the other way, losing $149 million across the two days, so the split between the two coins is getting hard to miss.
The rebound follows a rough end to last week, when $774 million left the funds on Thursday and Friday. Two good days later, October's net outflows are down to just $26 million, and the year-to-date total is still about $850 million in the green. Mood has lifted a little too: the Crypto Fear & Greed Index moved up to 51 from 48, still in "Neutral" territory and well below last week's 63. Bitcoin traded near $80,818 at the time, up about 1.6% in a day.
What stands out is how narrow the buying was. Only two funds took in money at all, and not one fund lost money on the day. All told, US Bitcoin ETFs now hold about $104 billion, around 6.4% of all Bitcoin's value, with $57.5 billion of total net inflows since they launched.

Can two good days fix a bad month?
Ether's side of the story says not yet. US Ether ETFs lost about $149 million across Monday and Tuesday, after four straight weeks of outflows, and October's Ether outflows now sit at $1.32 billion. That puts the month on track for the largest monthly withdrawals since November 2025. Money is not leaving crypto funds as a whole. It is picking Bitcoin over Ether, at least for now.
My own read is this: Two green days do not make a trend, but they do kill the panic story. The next test comes fast, with the Fed's rate decision due today, and that is what decides whether this two-day bounce turns into something bigger.
